The purpose of this class is to train you, the student, to deal effectively with the everyday situations you encounter as a believer,
by walking in the God-kind of love. This class will also provide you with a scriptural basis in the development of your love walk.
1. Two Kinds of Love – We will define and contrast God’s agape love and human love. We will look at each kind of love in
regard to qualities and source.
2. Love – A Transforming Force – We will look at how the flow of God’s love to and through us, transforms a life
. And we will discuss how to get this transforming force operative in our lives.
3. Developing the Love Walk – Part 1 – We will look at the many facets of God’s love as expressed to us in 1
Corinthians 13:4-8. We will look at Biblical, current, and/or practical application and attitudes of each of these many facets of love.
4. Developing the Love Walk – Part 2 – A continuation of study from Lesson #3.
5. Various Kinds of Agape Love – This lesson will deal with more practical expressions/attitudes of the God-kind of love in and
through our daily living.
1. COMPLETE ALL WORKSHEETS AND READING ASSIGNMENTS: A worksheet and reading assignment will be given for each week. These are to be
completed and handed back the following week. These will count for 25% of your final grade. Failure to complete the reading assignment c
onstitutes failure to complete the worksheet. Failure to complete the worksheet constitutes a final grade of I (Incomplete) for the class.
2. TEST: This will be over all the materials covered in this class, and will count for 75% of your final grade.
