Peter ask Jesus a question we probably have all wondered about at times. Jesus had been teaching about relationships and how to handle challenges.
Matt 18:21-22
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Peter must have thought to forgive seven times was great. We probably have thought the same thing but Jesus was saying we must walk in unlimited forgiveness. In the gospel of Luke we the words in a day added. So we can see Jesus was directing us to walk in a spirit of forgiveness at all times towards everybody.
We all know this is easier to say than to do but we all have to deal with this because it is extremely important in the kingdom of God. As we journey through life we are going to face opportunities to be offended and hurt in every relationship. In our homes, work place and even in church. It is a part of this life.
We just have to purpose in our hearts and make a decision to be a forgiving person.Â
I remember when my daughter was 3 years old and we were in our backyard. A young boy about her age was on the other side of the fence and Amanda was wanting to say hi. This little fellow picked up a toy and threw it and hit her in the head. She began to cry and I began to get mad. I told her you must forgive him and we prayed for him. Then the Holy Spirit said to me now you need to forgive him also. I realized I instructed her to forgive but I wanted to grab that boy and teach him a lesson.
We all must forgive at all times!
We need to define forgiveness in the light of the Bible. it means a release, a dismissal. When we forgive someone we are releasing them from the debt they owe.
This does not mean that we agree with them or justifying their actions. We are making a decision to obey God and walk in the love of God. Â
This is so important in your life. Because in Matthew 18Â Jesus continues with a story about the kingdom of heaven. How a person was released from a major debt and he rejoiced and was so happy. But he went out and found a person that owed him a small debt and threw him in prison because he could not pay.
What is wrong with this picture? We all at one time or another have been guilty of this very thing. God forgave us of a great debt and when we do not forgive someone. We open the door to the enemy.
Matt 18:32-35
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Freely we have received now we must freely give!Â
In Him

There is a great need for true leadership today in the body of Christ and in the world in general. I want to encourage you today that God desires to use your life to make a difference.
As we look into the Word of God and in history we find that when people honor God and walk in his ways that God uses them to make a difference in this world.
God has called each one of us to be a leader in this world. You might say I do not see myself that way but I want you to understand that God does. Being a leader does not mean that you will be famous or in the public eye.
It means that you can use your influence to touch and minister in someone else’s life.
I like this definition of leadeship inspiring influence. It means that we use the power and means of our life to influence others to make good decisons. So you may be in school or entering the business world or a stay at home parent. But no matter who we are or where we are in life we can influence people by the life we live and the choices we make.
We need to always be open to speak into a friend’s life and share the truth. You might see someone making a bad choice. We can either be quiet and not rock the boat or we can speak the truth in love. We should not do this in a judgemental way but from a heart that cares for someone. We need to use our influence to help others and impact their life.
You will not always being appreciated for doing this and it will not make you popular. But we can have the peace in our heart that we have done the right thing. I would rather stand for truth and live for God than be accepted by the world. We have to make a decision are we going to live for God or please people?Â
So let’s follow God with all our heart and be ready to speak the tuth in love to those we come in contact with. Let’s be ready to let our light shine and make a difference in other people’s lives.
In him

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian church you have many instructors but only a few fathers. If you think about that it really is true in life. As we look back over our lives there were many people who spoke into our lives but we probably only had a few people who made a profound impact on our lives. We truly cherish these people.
It may have been a school teacher or a coach. It may have been a scout leader or your own dad. But you remember their influence. Teachers give us information but fathers impart their heart.
Today our world is in need of Fathers. People who will take the time to invest in the life of a young person. Someone who will care and share. We need to see more people today who carry this type of compassion.
If you have had someone who was a father to you take time today to call or write them. If they have went on to the other side take a moment to thank God for them. Because you were truly blessed.
Oh, and one more thing let’s purpose in our hearts to pass that blessing on to another person’s life.
Freely we have received freely let’s give!

One of the greatest calls we can ever answer is the call of Disipleship. Yet many people never hear the call because we do not hear it with just our ears but with our heart. How we hear will affect how we answer.
Jesus is calling us today we need to have ears to hear.
Matt 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” NIV
The call of Discipleship is the call of the master. Today we have many Cristians but few disciples. I want to encourage you to make a decison to pursue Jesus Christ with  a fresh new zeal and answer the call of Discipleship.
What is a disciple? It is the Greek word mathetes it means to be a learner but it is more than that. It speaks of thought accompanied by endeavor. Disciples are to be imitators of their teachers. So when we speak of being a disciple of Jesus Christ it means we whole heartedly commit to live by his teachings and follow the example he left us.
As a disciple we will be
1. A student of Jesus Christ
2. Obedient doer of the Word of God.
3. A disciplined follower of Jesus Christ.
4. One that is submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
5. We willl reproduce ourselves in the life of others.
The true acid test of discipleship is this. Am I reproducing my self in others? Am I a disciple maker? Think about the ministry of Jesus Christ all that he did on the cross would have been in vain if he had not discipled others to carry on the ministry. This was true in the life of the twelve that walked with him and it is true today.
So let us hear him today and answer the call to be his disciple!
In Him

Sunday we will celebrate Mother’s Day it is one of my favorite holidays. I guess it is because my mom means so much to me. My mother was born-again and baptized in the Holy Spirit when she was pregnant with me. She told me she had such a desire for the word of God. She read as often as she could and would pray and ask God to make me a teacher of the Word. I was named after King David in the Bible.
I am eternally indebted to my mom. She taught about a true and living God. She was the first person I ever witnessed who was used in the Gifts of the Spirit and today she is mightily used in intercessory prayer.
I think that many of us could say thanks mom because of the impact on our lives. Some of you have experienced your mother passing into the presence of Jesus but we can give thanks for all they have imparted to our lives.
Prov 31:30-31
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Thanks mom

Sharon and I just arrived back home from Albania we are thankful for safe travel. We concluded the seminar on Saturday night and it was a powerful time in Word and Worship the Holy Spirit touched many lives.
It was exciting to see the Albanian people pressing into the things of God. They live in challenging situations but they have a vibrant love for God and strong faith to see God move.
We had 3 young adults baptized in the Holy Spirit on Saturday night it was exciting to see their hunger.
Sharon and I spoke at a church on Sunday morning pastored by our good friends Alexander and Vera the people were so friendly and so hungry for the things of God. They have a great church and a wonderful orphanage with 18 children. The orphanage is beautiful with great rooms all painted so bright and a great place for these young children.
I ministered on Victory and Sharon ministered in song. we had 28 people baptized in the Holy Spirit. It was a joy to see 8 of the chldren from the orphanage receive the Holy Spirit. We had people from 8 years old to 75 receive it was a sight to behold.
Thanks for praying and continue to pray for Albania that these precious people will see the glory of Jesus and turn to him.

We had our first motorcycle ministry meeting yesterday it was cold! We thought spring had arrived but we were reminded that Oklahoma weather has a mind of it’s own.
We awoke to rain and snow flurries and a tempature in the 30’s. James Dement the leader of this ministry was not moved he said we are going to move ahead with our plans.
We had 11 motorcycles show up and 14 riders and around 20 for our meeting. We did about an hour and an half ride and then met for burgers and went over our mission statement. It was a good time!
James shared that we have 2 things in common a passion for Jesus Christ and a passion for motorcycles. Our vision is to share both with all people. He used the illustration that we all come from different backgrounds. He used one brother who came from a outlaw biker group he was a 1 per center and then another brother who came from a different life style.
One rides a Harley the other a scooter. but we both have the same passion. So our desire is to reach all people and have some fun doing it on bikes. It was a good time. We are looking forward to some good ministry in the future.

We are quickly approaching the Easter season or the time that we recognize and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and his ultimate victory over sin.
I want to encourage you if you are a Christian to hear the message in the message. There are many wonderful Bible truths that we can learn from his resurrection and every one are important. I love to study the Bible and glean the deeper truths from the scripture but there is a very simple one that we must master. This story unfolds on the morning of the resurrection of Jesus.
Matt 28:5-7
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
Did you see it ? Did you hear it?
Go and Tell!
That is what it really is all about. That is the message that will change a life and change the world. We must go and tell. The Bible says in
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
You are that preacher we must go and tell. As we share the good news of his resurrection faith arises in the heart of peole to be saved.
The Bible says as they heard the words of the angel they ran quickly very excited to tell the disciples. As they ran suddenly they met a very unusual person.Â
Matt 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
They met Jesus the very same Jesus that they had seen crucified and buried. Jesus shared the same message!
Go and Tell!
This Easter season that is the message God is sharing with his people go and tell. As we do that we will touch lives for eternity.
The angel said go and tell.
Jesus said go and tell.
IÂ am telling you go and tell.
Now let’s do it!
